I went to pick up a lot of books from a nice lady. We then cleaned the books very well. The Free Little Library we went to today was at the dentist office. Scary.
This took longer as the locations were spread out - I went to the Audobon Society that had a little library in a pollinator garden which was cool. And a couple on very busy streets and one on a dead end street - lots of different places.
We filled the childrens library and the globe with books.
Many boxes have books, but not always kids books. Fun to fill empty or ones with few books.
This is Michael MCClain Team LFL volunteer. I enjoy participating with the Little Free Library volunteerism Distribute books to LFL’s near me category. I recently rode public transportation to the Frank Deluca YMCA located at 3200 SE 17th ST Ocala, FL 34471. The LFL located there is Charter# 47408. I distributed books that I collected by purchasing a Book Bundle of Elementary to Young Adult Books from the LFL website. I also purchased books from the Target and Barnes & Noble stores located in Ocala, FL.
The five books that I distributed this week were:
1. “National Geographic Kid: September 11”
2. “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Deep End”
3. “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Big Shot”
4. “ Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown”
5. “The Tuttle Twins and the Creature from Jekyll Island”
The LFL located at this YMCA is a Girl Scout Silver Award Project that is intended to improve literacy in Marion County, FL. The thing I enjoyed most about this volunteer opportunity was the ability to build Community simply by sharing books with other members of the community.
This was approximately my 45th visit to this LFL box. The box has a leaky roof and was disorganized.

Sorry for all the submissions - I am trying to catch up on community service documentation from the past few months.
