Distribute books to Little Free Libraries near you

Whitefield library!!

On my lunch break I stopped by a library at the Littleton elementary school.

This is Michael MCClain. I enjoy participating with the Little Free Library in the Distribute Books to LFL near me category. I recently rode public transportation to the Frank Deluca YMCA in Ocala, FL where there is a Little Free Library (Charter# 47408). I distributed books to this LFL that I collected by purchasing them from the Barnes & Noble in Ocala, FL. The three books that I distributed were:
“National Geographic Weird but True”
“Who Was Abraham Lincoln”
“Who Was Katherine Johnson”

The Little Free Library located at this YMCA is part of a Girl Scout Silver Award Project that is intended to improve to improve literacy in Marion County. The thing that I enjoyed most about this volunteer opportunity was the opportunity to share the love of reading with the kids at the YMCA through improving access to books with the Little Free Library. I look forward to my next opportunity to volunteer and distribute books to this box.

It was the first time and I am still getting acquainted with the app. Next time we will have a better route.
