I had carefully chosen books of high cultural value for this area. I sourced some of my favorites from a selection of significant authors.
As always it is wonderful to get out and engage with the community.
I chose to work on this project as a way to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday. I ended up with about 300 books instead of 250! Great way to support the community!
Sad to discover the one around the corner from us has gone, but curious to note the one north of me is full of mostly DVDs and VHS w/very few books, which we tried to remedy.
Always keep extra books in the vehicle ready to share!!
So much fun.
