Several people approached me while tiding up some of the libraries and questioned why I was adding books. I explained that I volunteered to distribute books to LFLs, and added books to make them more full (if needed). I was wearing my volunteer shirt. The encounters were not friendly at first. This was the first time I encountered stewards and neighbors asking what my purpose was visiting the libraries.
I’ve done this on my own for about two years now. Leaving books that didn’t speak to me or books that I need others to read in various libraries around town. I’ve also gotten to pick up new books I wouldn’t have found otherwise
I love books so, LFLs are my jam. Finding a LFL is like finding a treasure! I love to think that a book I placed turns out to make someone's day when they see it in the LFL just waiting to be chosen.
